The 11 Lb. Capacity..EatSmart Precision Pro – Multifunction Digital Kitchen Scale with Extra Large LCD
prefer to write this review after some time has passed, but I make sure my thoughts here soon.
This is the third level of cuisine. I bake my own bread at home and bake all requires good balance of ingredients rather than a volume measure.
This scale is very easy, which makes me nervous at first, but I’ve used for three weeks, for a lot of baking during the holidays, my concerns seem misplaced.
This scale meets all my needs. Here is what I seek:
1. CAPACITY – at least 10 lb (11 kg and has 5 kg). This is necessary to tare a glass bowl, close to 5 kg empty. Limit of 11 pounds, even if I have bread in a 6-qt KitchenAid bowl, but I only weigh the ingredients separately in another pool, if it becomes a problem.
2. ACCURACY – up to 1 gram – Another good reference I have only 5 grams, and although this is probably good enough, it took me nuts can not go up to 1 g
3. Stable platform for SHIPS – My previous scope was a platform that sat on top of a pillar, and finally resolved. So it was a balancing act a little weight
4. Batteries – I use my old scales well, drove me crazy but I have to buy batteries CR2032 too much stuff. These batteries are not long and costs too much to replace. I can not understand why this “button cells” is common that the increased capacity of AAA, AA, C, D, etc. cells. It is not, how are you are very small scales. In any case, a great advantage for this scale is that it uses standard batteries! We do not sell this place soon.
5. Price – $ 50, $ 30, $ 70 for a scale to do this is crazy. the circuit in these things is cheap. It is not rocket science. All these scales, the “features” are a waste of money. This scale is what to do for $ 20.
6. FEATURES – the size of zero, negative numbers read to switch between English and metric weight, tare a bowl …. this is … that is all I need. Everything else is a waste of money and another chance to fail. This is what is needed and nothing more.
7. Easy to read – too many. this scale is good …. not so good on this scale (and the only problem I have) is that large bowls tend to read a little and cover makes it difficult to get the weight. Previously, it was not much, but it may be a slight discomfort.
Balance:
This scale is 100% in Articles 1-6 and about 50% to 7% for category A 93 Total … enough for me, it’s 5 out of 5 stars.
The only issue is unrated SAVE …. I will report in a year. My old, $ 50 scale, lasted only 3.5 years. I’m betting this one at least as long … and I will not be forking over the back button batteries a month and a half
